Industry trend|2024 China RFID Passive Internet of Things Industry White Paper Officially Released

2024-11-13

2024 White Paper on China's RFID Passive Internet of Things Industry_00.jpg

The "2024 China RFID Passive IoT Industry White Paper", published by the AIoT Star Map Research Institute in August 2024, marks the fourth edition of our RFID passive IoT-themed white paper and market research report in the past five years.

Through long-term tracking and research, we have observed that RFID passive IoT, as an extremely cost-effective IoT solution, is entering its golden development phase. Although the industry foundation has been steadily established, the sector continues to maintain robust growth momentum. In 2019, when we first conducted our statistics, the global quantity of UHF RFID tags was 19 billion PCS, and by 2024, this number is expected to exceed 50 billion PCS.

Therefore, we have no doubt that the era of RFID passive tags reaching over 100 billion PCS annually will soon arrive.

Behind the rapid development of the industry, we also notice that the application market for RFID passive IoT is currently predominantly led by overseas clients. Meanwhile, domestic enterprises are facing intense competition, with many turning their attention to overseas markets. To help international users gain a more comprehensive understanding of the current status of China’s RFID passive IoT market, and to assist leading domestic RFID companies in better expanding into international markets, we have translated the "2024 China RFID Passive IoT Industry White Paper" into English. We invite companies in the RFID industry chain to download the English version of the white paper through the link provided.
