[IOTE Expo 2024 Shenzhen]Across the power supply constraint, IOTE·2024 Shenzhen Intelligent Sensing and Micro-energy Power Harvesting Ecology Seminar was successfully held

2024-09-03

Following the trend of the low-power era, the development trajectory of hardware such as sensors and microcontrollers (MCUS) is experiencing a leap from refinement (miniaturization), integration (integration) to intelligence, and on this basis, bravely towards a new era of passivity.

In the process of this transition, in the face of increasingly fragmented application scenarios and consumers' desire for instant availability and burdenless experience, the traditional cumbersome power cord bondage and battery design that occupies precious space gradually appear to be out of place, encountering the market "cold".

It is based on this background that passive technology is like a bright new star and quickly becomes a new wind that the science and technology industry is chasing. It not only represents a profound change in hardware design, but also a positive response to the pursuit of intelligent and convenient lifestyle in the future.

In order to better share the cutting-edge dynamics of intelligent sensing and micro-energy power collection with industry colleagues, and to more deeply analyze its value and promote its development, on the morning of August 28, Organized by Shenzhen Internet of Things Industry Association and hosted by IOTE Media, IOTE, AloT Star Map Research Institute and AloT Library, "IOTE-2024 Shenzhen Intelligent Sensing and Micro-Energy Power Collection Ecology Seminar "was successfully held in Hall 3, Hall 10, Shenzhen World Convention and Exhibition Center (Bao 'an New Hall).

As one of the sub-forums of the "IOTE 2024 22nd International Internet of Things Exhibition", this conference focused on the application scenarios, technical difficulties and cutting-edge trends of micro-energy power generation technology in the sensor industry, and invited representatives from the industry to attend.

The representatives of the enterprises participating in the meeting are: Shanghai Huipen Intelligent Technology Co., LTD. - General manager - Liang Junrui, Shanghai Dao Biolink Technology Co., LTD. - Marketing director - Wu Huayi, Beijing Zhixin Microelectronics Technology Co., LTD. -(Shenzhen Zhixin) General manager - Wang Zheng, Shenzhen Tsinghua University Research Institute of Superslip Technology/Shenzhen Qingli Technology Co., LTD. Microgenerator product manager -

Huang Xuanyu, Beijing Jingyi North Instrument Co., Ltd.-CTO-Lin Xinzhi, Jiangsu Yixing Derong Technology Co., Ltd.-Executive Deputy General Manager - Li Hua.

Mr. Liang Junrui, general manager of Shanghai Huipen Intelligent Technology Co., LTD., gave a keynote speech on "Micro-energy power collection technology, is it just needed or superfluous".

Mr. Liang first pointed out the power supply problems that need to be solved by the Internet of everything - the existing wired power supply and chemical batteries, in the era of the Internet of everything, passive (zero battery, self-energy) is the future opportunity of the Internet of things, micro-energy into an important solution, such as emerging technologies to actively emit radio frequency energy and absorb environmental energy.

Mr. Wu Huayi, Marketing director of Shanghai Biolink Technology Co., LTD., gave a keynote speech on "TurMassTM- a super large capacity intelligent sensing Wireless Internet of Things Access Technology".

The product of this speech is a new generation of narrowband Internet of Things technology -TurMassTM chip and system solution. Mr. Wu introduced its core technology: ultra-large capacity narrowband transmission technology based on large-scale antenna (mMIMO).

Mr. Wu said that the mission of Tao Biologic Union is to promote the realization of the Internet of everything through first-class products.

Mr. Wang Zheng, general manager of Beijing Zhixin Microelectronics Technology Co., LTD. (Shenzhen Zhixin), gave a keynote speech on the Latest Progress of micro-energy harvesting and power management chips for loT.

Mr. Wang first shared with you the background of IoT micro-energy collection applications, he said that the global Internet of Things (IoT) market is huge, and the number of connections is expected to reach 29.7 billion in 2027, and the surge in battery demand will promote the development of self-powered systems.

Everything contains energy and can be converted into power supply, so micro-energy harvesting technology is the key.

The technology path is shifting from analog circuit collection to SoC chips that integrate energy collection, communication, computing, and storage to serve various industries with stronger functions and smaller volumes.

Mr. Huang Xuanyu, product leader of microgenerator from Shenzhen Qingli Technology Co., LTD., Tsinghua University Research Institute of Superslip Technology/Shenzhen Qingli Technology Co., Ltd. gave a keynote speech on "Zero wear microgenerator technology - maintenance-free self-powered sensing Solution".

Huang pointed out the pain points of battery-powered technology, and the life of the power supply demand will be limited at a small scale.

He says zero-wear fretting power generation based on structural superslip is the next opportunity.

Structural superslip technology refers to the state of extremely low friction and zero wear (ultra-long life) when two solids are in direct contact with relative slip.

The structural superslip microgenerator can efficiently convert the external excitation energy (mechanical energy) into electrical energy at a small scale.

Mr. Lin Xinzhi, CTO from Beijing Jingyi North Instrument Co., Ltd. gave a keynote speech on "Green passive low-carbon Sensing Technology and Application Practice".

Mr. Lin said that green passive low-carbon sensing technology is gradually solving the problems faced by traditional meter schemes and through-core current transformer schemes.

These traditional solutions have such pain points as large equipment volume, high installation conditions, electrical fire hazards, extensive monitoring particles, high operation and maintenance costs and losses caused by power outage construction.

Mr. Li Hua, executive deputy general manager of Jiangsu Yixing Derong Technology Co., LTD., gave a keynote speech on "Low light level energy Collection Technology to help environmental awareness iot".

According to Li, this technology cleverly captures the ubiquitous but often overlooked low-light energy in nature - whether it is the faint sunlight in the room, the moonlight at night, or the ubiquitous LED lights, which can be used as a source of energy.

Through an advanced photoelectric conversion mechanism, these tiny light sources are converted into electricity, providing a steady stream of green power for iot devices.
